“Shank pullers (sometimes called Bulldogs) are designed to give pulling leverage during lasting in the shank area of cowboy boots. As a small person who’s not very strong, I LOVE a product that makes it easier for me to do a good job of lasting a pair of boots.
The Shoe Shank Pullers are similar but they’re specifically designed to not give you as much pulling power, as it’s not required when lasting a shoe.”
