These are the ones you need. They come ready for micro-sharpening, but sharpening is not really the secret. Keep stropping them and they will soon keep a razor edge. Because they are laminated steel the tool is slightly flexible and can be bent lengthwise a bit if it’s what you need. I have mitts for hands and that little bit lets me get the bevel down to where it does some good.

I am impressed with the skiving knives, after practicing for a couple of hours, my skiving has improved. Great steel keeps an edge longer and you don’t have to change the blade. The price of the knife vs the cost of blades makes it very economical.

Love that I can push or pull skive with this knife! Very sharp out of the package. Lisa is also a pleasure to do business with. Great customer service!
