Usage instructions:
Aquilim 315, contact cement
Directions: Make sure that both surfaces are clean and roughed-up so adhesive can penetrate. Apply adhesive to both surfaces by brushing or spraying and allow to dry completely. Adhesive will turn clear when it’s dry and ready for adhesion; this will take 20-30 minutes depending on humidity. Once adhesive is dry and clear, stick the items to be bonded together and hammer or press.
Aquilim GL, rubber cement
Directions: The Aquilim GL only needs to be applied to one of the surfaces that will be stuck together. Using a brush or a spray gun, apply adhesive to the back or the roughed-up surface of one piece of leather. While the adhesive is still wet, immediately bond the two surfaces; press or hammer together.
Aquilim SG, temporary bond
Please note: Due to bottling and consistency issues, Aquilim SG has been removed from the website until further notice.

Description

WATER-BASED GLUE: NON-TOXIC, NO FUMES

Unlike many other “water-based” or “VOC-free” glues, Aquilim GL is completely free of any solvents except water. The easiest way to check this is by smell: many other water-based glues (Latex) contain ammonium with its pungent smell, and many “VOC-free” glues still smell like solvents (they contain Acetone, a solvent that is not classified as a VOC, but is still flammable and hazardous material). Compared to this, Aquilim does not smell at all, is not flammable, and does not require any special handling or storage for hazardous materials.
